Lightning forward Alex Killorn suspended 1 game for hit on Islanders' Brock Nelson in Game 2

TAMPA, Fla. — The Tampa Bay Lightning will be without forward Alex Killorn for a game due to a suspension.

Killorn is suspended one game for his hit on New York Islanders' Brock Nelson in Game 2. Following the incident, Killorn was issued a five-minute major and game misconduct for boarding.

The Lightning went on to win 2-1 in Game 2 to take a 2-0 series lead in the Eastern Conference Final.

Tampa Bay coach Jon Cooper did not say who will replace the suspended forward in the lineup for Game 3.
