Piers Morgan beams as he reunites with two brothers for a pint for the first time this year
by Nick FerrisPIERS Morgan beamed as he reunited with his two brothers for the first time this year as they went for a pint at his local pub.
The Good Morning Britain star, 55, took to Instagram to share a snap of himself clutching a pint alongside his brothers Jeremy, 54, and Rupert.
The trio were pictured outside the white weather-boarded Royal Oak pub in Newick, the Sussex town where Piers was both born and continues to live.
They certainly looked like chips off the same old block as all three sported matching navy tops.
Piers wore a broad grin as he captioned the photo: "Brothers... reunited for first time this year."
It is not the first time he has visited The Royal Oak.
The Britain's Got Talent judge shared a snap of himself with his eldest son Spencer, 27, drinking pints together at the pub two weeks ago.
Revealing just how big a fan he is of the establishment, he captioned the photo: "Celebrating my 40th year of drinking in this pub. That’s a LOT of Harvey’s.... 🍺 🥳".
To which Spencer cheekily commented in reply: "I’m carrying him home aren’t I".
Piers is the son of Gabrielle Georgina Sybille and Vincent Eamonn O’Meara, but his dad tragically died when Piers was only 11 months old.
When his mother went on to marry Gynne Pughe-Morgan, the brothers took their step-father's surname and now refer to him as Dad.
Piers himself is proud father of three sons with his ex-wife Marion Shalloe: Spencer, Stanley, 23, and 19-year-old Albert.
He also has an 8-year-old daughter with his second wife, fellow journalist Celia Walden, 44.
Piers Morgan revealed recently that burglars stole more than £10,000 from the family while they holidayed in the South of France.
He reckons they tracked him back from Côte d’Azur celebrity haunt Club 55 to his rented villa using a drone.
The thieves struck last month while he and his family were asleep.
They took cash and jewellery — including an art deco ring he gave wife Celia for their fifth anniversary.
