Verstappen calls Honda's problems "not normal"
by Adam NewtonMax Verstappen has retired three times this season due to engine issues. At Mugello there was a problem with the electronics of Honda's power unit, causing the Red Bull Racing driver to lose a lot of power, dropping into the mid-pack and having a first lap accident. Verstappen is not happy with the Japanese engine manufacturer.
"That's just not normal," he says according to Motorsport-Total.com. The 22-year-old Dutchman doesn't hide his frustration and points to his team's engine supplier. "Especially since this is now happening for the second time in a row. At the moment I'm just fed up with it."
Verstappen doesn't know what happened
The start of Verstappen was initially very good. He was right next to Hamilton in the first few metres, but suddenly the nine-time Grand Prix winner lost a lot of power: "I don't know what happened. In midfield it's very easy to get involved in an incident," he shrugs his shoulders to Motorsport-Magazin.com.
Verstappen was clearly frustrated and left the Italian circuit before the end of the race
