Strictly Come Dancing hopeful Ranvir Singh has confirmed her marriage breakdown.

Her Strictly stint is just weeks away and Good Morning Britain's presenter, 43, has shone a light on the end of her marriage to her ex Ranjeet Singh Dehal.

They were wed in 2012 but it's come to light recently their marriage has crumbled.

In a new interview, the mum admitted it's hard work being a working single parent to her son Tushaan.

She told Woman & Home magazine: "It’s hard work being a working single parent."

Intimate details about her marriage breakdown have not been revelead.

However, Ranvir chose to open up about her close bond with her eight-year-old son as she commented it was only "just me and him".

Also, the breakfast TV star got emotional over her "enormous amount of guilt" about working while her son has been going to school.

She elaborated: "I struggle with an enormous amount of guilt with my son and not being there when he goes to school. We’re very attached to one another because it’s just me and him.

"I do get quite tearful sometimes and I worry he’s going to hate me when he grows up because I was never there."

It comes just weeks after Ranvir confessed her worst fears were confirmed when she looked at her husband's phone.

Her private life has mainly stayed out of the limelight.
