Mosimane Closing In On Baxter’s Nedbank Cup Record!
by Soccer LadumaPitso ‘Jingles’ Mosimane is closing in on Stuart Baxter's record of the Nedbank Cup titles won with the latest triumph of Mamelodi Sundowns in the competition.
Mosimane led Sundowns to a 1-0 win over Bloemfontein Celtic at the Orlando Stadium on Saturday night to win the Nedbank Cup, which is the third trophy for the Chloorkop outfit this season, after they won both the Telkom Knockout and Absa Premiership title earlier in the campaign.

In the history of the Nedbank Cup, Mosimane has now won the prestigious competition on two occasions, and is short of one trophy to reach Baxter’s tally of three.
