‘Bollywood’s connections with drug mafia,’ has been the most discussed in the political and film fraternities of late while news that Narcotics Control Bureau(NCB) had some high-profile name is rattling the industry.

Soon rumours intensified that almost 25 A-listers will be grilled by NCB sleuths along with Rhea, the main accused in actor Sushant’s death case.

In no time, name of actresses Sara Ali Khan and Rakul Preet Singh started trending on social media while memers took no qualms to food internet with trolls. It was claimed that Rhea who is in the custody revealed the name of the two actresses during the interrogation.

However, clearing air Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede, who’s leading the team of NCB, said that they have got no information about the names of the celebrities so far.

Clarifying that they don’t have a list of celebrity as portrayed by the media, Sameer Wankhede stated that it was the list of drug peddlers who are part of the larger syndicate.

With the clarification out and clear, hashtags like #SorryRakul and #SorrySara kept trending from Sunday evening, apologising the actresses. It can be noted that many celebrities including the South Indian actors stood against the media trial on Rhea while the investigation is still on.
