What to expect from Akshay Kumar's special episode of Into The Wild With Bear Grylls

Bear Grylls' upcoming special episode of Into The Wild With Bear Grylls will feature Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar. The special episode starring Akshay was shot at Karnataka's Bandipur Tiger Reserve.

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is all set to star in one of the special episodes of Discovery channels Into The Wild With Bear Grylls on Monday. Widely regarded as one of the most versatile actors in the Hindi film industry, Akshay is the third Indian to get featured in one of Bear Grylls's adventure shows. Before Akshay, Superstar Rajinikanth and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have strolled through the wilderness with Bear in his popular adventure shows. 

In the build-up to his special episode of Into The Wild With Bear Grylls, Akshay invited Bear for a quick  Instagram Live session. The Khiladi Kumar gave Bear some quick lessons to speak Hindi after a fan urged the Bollywood actor to teach the adventure freak some popular phrase in the Indo-Aryan language.  

Since being on Into The Wild with Bear Grylls has been one of the wildest experiences for Akshay, the Bollywood superstar had remained keen on sharing a glimpse of his special episode before the worldwide release. Talking about the special episode which will air tonight on the Discovery Channel, Akshay will channel his inner 'Khiladi' to record a memorable appearance on the adventure show. 

In the 'classic military-style mission', Akshay will acquire the art of making a reef knot before sailing over a river full of crocodiles. Akshay, who sees himself as a student of Bear will offer the show host some ‘ayurvedic balls’ which is made from apricot tree’s gum. The duo will then taste the infamous ‘elephant poo tea’ before they cross a river by keeping a low-profile. 

The special episode will also have small cameos from Bollywood celebrities including the likes of Twinkle Khanna, Katrina Kaif, and Suneil Shetty. The celebrities will share their special messages on the show to motivate the Bollywood actor. Akshay will also reveal the film which has been special to the actor. The special episode Into The Wild With Bear Grylls featuring Akshay will air on the Discovery Channel at 8 PM tonight. The special episode starring Akshay was shot at Karnataka's Bandipur Tiger Reserve.
