25-yr-old woman raped on pretext of marriage

A 25-year old woman was allegedly sexually exploited for the past two and a half  years on the promise of marriage at Shahpura ; a complaint was lodged by victim on Saturday.

According to the police, the victim was sexually assaulted by the accused Mahendra Kumar in the name of marrying her and few days ago he refused to marry her.

Based on the complaint police have registered a case under section 376(2) of the IPC and started investigation.

The victim came into contact with the accused when she used to work as computer operator at a private school in Shahpura. The two became friends and later developed relationship. 

In the complaint victim claimed that the accused developed relationship with the victim and later offered her to marry and during the past two and a half years he sexually assaulted and exploited her.

The accused was having a loan of Rs 2 lakh and told the victim that he would marry after repaying the borrowed money. The accused borrowed Rs 1.11 lakh from the victim.

Few months back when the victim started to pressurise for marrying the accused refused to marry her and stopped all kinds of communication with the victim. The accused also failed to refund the money he took from the victim. The victim lodged a complaint with the police.
