Police are appealing to the public to help find a wanted man from Worcestershire who may have fled to Scotland.

Jerraldo Collins, 31, is missing from the Worcester, Kidderminster and Droitwich areas after breaching his court bail conditions.

He is described as 5ft 11, of a medium build and with short hair.

West Mercia Police has added that it is thought he might have travelled to Scotland.

The force has urged anyone with information about his current whereabouts to get in touch.

"If you see him or have information on his whereabouts please call us on 101," a police spokesperson said.

In other police news, officers across Worcestershire are increasingly having to deal with suspects using spitting and Covid-19 as a weapon, the region's police and crime commissioner has said.

John Campion from West Mercia Police has called for tougher sentences against those who spit or cough on officers after a surge in such assaults.
