Bokaro students taste success in JEE Mains exam

Several hundred students from Bokaro tasted success in the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Mains.

Scripting yet another story of exemplary performance, over a dozen students of DPS Bokaro secured more than 99 percentile in the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE Main). Utkarsh Aditya secured 99.87 percentile followed by Ashwin Sinha who scored 99.85 percentile in the September 2020 session, informed the school authority.

The results of students are still trickling but as per information received by the school till now, more than three dozen have got more than 90 percentile while scores have fetched more than 80 percentile.

The students who have made their school proud are Utkarsh Aditya (99.87); Ashwin Sinha (99.85); Rahul Shrestha (99.84); Tanay Singh (99.837); Raunit Kumar Jain (99.831); Suryansh Arya (99.57); Abhijeet Anand (99.41); Gyan Ujjwal (98.81); Prashank Verma (98.48); Akshat Raj Singh (98.4); Harshavardhan Sinha(97.5); Aditi Mallick (97.5); Anchal Agarwal (97.48); Ayush (97.34);  Kumar Varun (96.6); Rohit Raj(96.59); Rohit Kumar Thakur (96.19); Ritik Kumar (96.01); Abhijeet Anand (95.8); Samiksha Agarwal(92.4); Jyoti Kumari (90.45). Principal, DPS Bokaro A. S. Gangwar extended his hearty congratulations to the students who qualified for the prestigious examination. “The school, the teachers, the parents; we are all proud of you. JEE (Main) is among the top examinations and you have proved your mettle by your exemplary performance. Take this energy forward and give your best in JEE Advance too. Be the motivation and set an example for the upcoming batches. God bless you all”, he added.

While around 150 students of Chinmaya Vidyalaya recorded success in the exam. Sumant Choudhary (99.87), Mayank Kumar (99.67), Vedant Agrawal (99.63), Harshit Ranjan (99.59), Sohum b Banarjee (99.5), Uttam Kumar (99.5), Siddhant Jain (99.41) including other students cracked the exam. 

Expressing happiness over this unprecedented success of student students, AK Jha, Principal (in-charge) of the school, thanked the parents, the school teacher, and said the students achieved this success through hard work and positive guidance.

Due to the lack of contact with the students due to Covid 19, information regarding their examination results is not available. The number of students who passed in school will increase further, he said.
