by Jemima SkalaLevel Up DJ and production workshops, aimed at inspiring women and non-binary people to take up careers in DJing and music production, will conclude next week.
On Wednesday September 9, DJ and broadcaster Sarah Story will be in conversation with DJ Jess Bays. The following Wednesday, Story will host a discussion with rising star Jaguar. These final two sessions are intended to give participants an insight into the inner workings of the music industry from veterans and those at the beginning of their careers.
Tutorials will be broadcast through Little Pink Book's Mixcloud channel, and attendees will be able to ask questions and interact with the tutors throughout. The series has been in partnership with Pioneer, and throughout each session there will be giveaways of the DDJ-200 Controller.

The sessions, which have been running throughout August, have come about as a collaboration between Little Pink Book, a platform set up to represent women in music, and the DJ and production school London Sound Academy.
Previous sessions have seen Yazzus and trap and hip hop producer Tayylor Made provide insights into their track production in Ableton and a beginners’ guide to DJing with Hemlin.
