Nokia 8.3 5G on pre-orders in the Netherlands, Finland, and Switzerland

After roughly 6 months, Nokia Mobile’s introductory 5G smartphone, Nokia 8.3 5G, for the first time went on pre-orders officially in Belgium, and it has been bundled with the Nokia Power Earbuds BH-605. Although not via the official shop, the Nokia 8.3 5G is now also up for pre-orders through online shops in Finland, Netherlands, and Switzerland.
Given below is the details of the Nokia 8.3 5G’s pre-orders in the following countries:
Finland
The e-commerce site Verkkokauppa is taking pre-orders for both the 6GB and 8GB RAM variants with a shipping date starting from October 2, 2020. There is no change in the prices. It remains the same as the ones that were announced in March, i.e., the 6GB/64GB variant for €599 (₹ 52145, US$710), and the 8GB/128GB variant for €649 (₹ 56495, US$769).
Netherlands
The device is up for pre-orders on Belsimpel and the cost is the same as that in Belgium, i.e., €579 (₹ 50400, US$686) for the 6GB/64GB variant and €649 for the 8GB/128GB variant, while the people in the Netherlands will miss out on the Nokia Power Earbuds BH-605. As per the site, the smartphone will start shipping in about four weeks from now.
Switzerland
Nokia 8.3 5G has been on pre-orders in Switzerland via Galaxus for a while now. However, the device is now available on another webshop named Fust. As per Fust, the shipments for the smartphone should start from the September end, while Galaxus has mentioned more specifically, i.e., from September 28. As of now, only the 8GB/128GB variant is available for €649.
With such varying shipping dates, it looks like that the Nokia 8.3 5G will not be shipping until September 23rd (Belgium) at the very earliest. Hopefully, the other countries will follow in soon. The Nokia 8.3 5G is also expected to make an entry into the US post-mid-September, where Nokia Mobile could also launch it as Nokia 8 V 5G UW under Verizon. Clove UK had the device on pre-order since April, however it recently removed the product listing from its site.
