2021 Mini Cooper S facelift spied ahead of unveiling
The facelifted hatch has been caught driving in Europe, revealing a more aggressive design.
by Ben ZachariahThe facelifted 2021 Mini Cooper S has been photographed driving on the streets of Holland ahead of its official unveiling.
These grainy spy pics, posted by CocheSpias, show a darker, more aggressive, simplified front end for Mini's hot hatch.
In a departure for the Cooper S, all exterior chrome accents have been replaced by bold gloss black finishes, while the headlights also look to be tinted.
Meanwhile, fog lights are no longer integrated into the front bumper.
The design language appears to align with the Mini Rocketman Concept first shown in 2019, which favoured black highlights over the traditional chrome trim.
The 2021 Mini Cooper S is expected to be unveiled in the coming months.
