Four new players have been added to AmaZulu FC's squad, while the club is set to make a decision on two others in preparation for the new season.

AmaZulu have confirmed appointing Ayanda Dlamini as the club’s head coach on a three-year deal, after the former striker has led the team out of relegation in the 2019/20 season.

In assembling a squad which the club believes will do better in the new season as part of the plans to avoid fighting against relegation, Usuthu have signed winger Sicelo Mkhize from Jomo Cosmos and Samkelo Mgwazela from Golden Arrows. The Durban-based club has also added winger Somila Ntsundwana and goalkeeper Jean Noel Amonome to the squad, with both players coming back from Royal Eagles where they had been on loan.

“When it comes to any new signings, we can confirm that we have Mr Somila Ntsundwana, he was on loan to Royal Eagles and he will be rejoining us,” AmaZulu general manager Lunga Sokhela confirmed, speaking to the media.
