NCB deputy director clarifies on Rhea Chakraborty using her mother's phone to make contraband related calls: Not based on any facts of the investigation
by TIMESOFINDIA.COMThe Narcotics Control Bureau has finally confirmed that Rhea Chakraborty had mentioned the names of Bollywood actresses Sara Ali Khan and Rakul Preet Singh in her statement during her interrogation.
According to Times Now's latest report, the agency is expected to send the summons to the actresses by tomorrow, reports of Rhea using her mother's phone to make calls related to contraband have been making rounds on the internet.

Addressing the issue, NCB's deputy director KPS Malhotra shared a statement wherein he said, "Few journalists are asking that whether Rhea used to make any contraband related calls from her mom’s phone. The same is not verified and not based on any facts of the investigation."
Meanwhile, Rhea along with her brother Showik Chakraborty is currently in custody in connection to the drugs case. Earlier in the day, Advocate Satish Manshinde, who is representing the Chakrabortys, shared in a statement which stated that they are in no hurry to apply for bail.
