Taylor Swift's personalised gift to Katy Perry's daughter Daisy after ending bitter feud

Taylor Swift continued to mend her bitter five-year feud with Katy Perry sending her former rival an adorable gift for daughter Daisy Bloom.

The rift between the two pop princesses stems way back to 2014 when Taylor, 30, accused Katy, 35, of stealing backing dancers from her Red tour.

What followed, was an array of public spats and even revenge songs on both sides in the form of Bad Blood and Swish Swish.

The singers decided to drop the tension last year after Katy literally offered the Shake It Off singer an olive branch.

And it seems as though the pair are finally past that stage of their lives as they publicly acknowledged their past differences and admitted that they are now friends again.

After Katy welcomed her first child with fiancé Orlando Bloom last month, Taylor decided to send over a thoughtful gift for the newborn.

Taking to Instagram, Katy shared a snap of the sweet gift, which was a peach silk blanket that had "Baby Bloom" embroidered on the front.

Alongside it, was a special handwritten note from the Cardigan singer, which she addressed to "Katy, Orlando and little one".

Gushing over the sweet gift, Katy wrote: "Miss [Daisy] adores her hand embroidered blankie from miss @taylorswift.

"Hope it's one she drags around for years till it becomes an unrecognizable shred that she keeps in her pocket as a teenager."

Katy also promoted Taylor's new album Folklore by tagging the snap's location as "Stream Folklore" in a bid to encourage fans to buy the singer's latest album.

After sending Taylor an olive branch in a bid to put their feud to rest last year, Katy attached an apology letter to it, admitting that she had been "deeply sorry" for all the drama between them.

"Hey old friend, I've been doing some reflecting on past miscommunications and the hurt feelings between us," the letter reads.

Taylor shared a snap of the letter to her  Instagram  story and wrote 'Thank you Katy' alongside it.

The singers are now in very exciting stages of their lives, with Katy being a new mum after welcoming Daisy on August 26th.

Meanwhile, Taylor has been happily dating British actor Joe Alwyn for four years, with their relationship going from strength to strength ever since.
