After being left out of the PFA Team of the Season this week, the Egyptian got his campaign off to a perfect start with a hat-trick in the 4-3 win over Leeds at Anfield.

With his opening goal from the penalty spot after four minutes, Salah became the first Liverpool player in Premier League history to score in the opening league game of four successive seasons.

However, that was not the only record the Egyptian set on the day as he become the first Reds player to score a hat-trick on the opening day of a Premier League season.

Salah finished the 2019/2020 league season with 19 goals but he will be looking to add a third Golden Boot to his trophy cabinet this time around.
