Multiple Irish Rail commuter services cancelled due to 'an operational issue'

Irish Rail have announced that a number of their commuter services have been cancelled this evening due to an 'operational issue'.

Irish Rail announced the news on their Twitter page this afternoon, with commuters urged to organise alternative means of travel.

Irish Rail said they are not in a position to provide alternatives to these services for commuters.

The cancellations mostly affect commuters on the Maynooth line and Irish Rail have said that services which will no longer be running are:

14:20 Heuston to Portlaoise

15:55 Docklands to M3 Parkway

17:25 Docklands to M3 Parkway

19:00 Docklands to M3 Parkway

16:35 M3 Parkway to Docklands

18:05 M3 Parkway to Docklands

19:40 M3 Parkway to Connolly

18:00 Connolly to Maynooth

19:00 Maynooth to Connolly
