ITV is currently hiring for a whole host of different roles with positions available with news programmes as well as the likes of Love Island and This Morning.

Many of the positions up for grabs are classed as apprenticeships and will be perfect for college leavers or anyone looking to get their foot in the door.

And what could be better than working for one of the country's biggest broadcasters?

Here are some of the jobs that are available to apply for now.

Junior Account Director - Love Island

This is a full-time, permanent role and will see the successful candidate  be responsible for managing the relationship with commercial stakeholders with efficiency, tact and unerring focus to deliver bespoke partnerships around Love Island.

ITV Creative Partnerships is looking for someone who has commercial experience of managing clients and running advertising campaigns, plus significant knowledge of effective social and digital content campaigns.

Other key traits include a high level of understanding of the broadcast media environment, including Digital, ability to juggle many projects at the same time and stick to hard deadlines and excellent time and organisational management.

Junior Journalist, ITV News Granada

One for the local, future TV stars, one of the ITV apprentiships available is for a junior journalist on ITV News Granada based in Salford.

Part of the job description reads: "ITV News has been providing award-winning news coverage for more than 50 years.

"And we're very proud of it. Every day, millions of viewers watch our programmes on-air and connect with us online to get the latest, breaking news from Britainss most popular commercial broadcaster."

As an apprentice you'll learn how to generate and produce news stories for ITV News Granada and our digital platforms.

By the end of the apprenticeship, which is full time for 13 months, you'll know how to identify a story, carry out the necessary research and interviews, appreciate more about how to write a story for social media and start to understand the ethics and law in relation to news.

To be successful, the applicant must demonstrate a clear understanding and passion for the apprenticeship role they are applying for as well as ITV.

Among other skills and qualities, the candidate must be a team player with a willingness to learn and help out, able to multitask and prioritise responsibilities and an eagerness for learning new skills as you’ll get opportunities to be a part of lots of great new experiences.

Production Runner (MultiStory)

MultiStory Media, part of ITV Studios, creates and produces a broad mix of award winning shows across factual, entertainment, current affairs and features - including the Tonight programme, Peston and Martin Lewis' Money Show.

In this apprenticeship role as a production runner for MultiStory, you will get an incredible chance to learn the art of TV production from a wide-range of people with different specialist skills, to be in a very vibrant team making a wide variety of programmes.

Production Secretary Apprentice (Daytime)

With this role, the goings on during the likes of Good Morning Britain, Lorraine, This Morning and Loose Women will be part of every day life.

Instead of watching from the comfort of your own home, this position will see you working within one of the 4 programme teams to support, coordinate and contribute towards their news operations on TV and Online from 6am to 1.30pm every day.

Part of the job application says: "This is a busy but rewarding environment, you'll be super organised with the ability to work in a highly productive environment with strict deadlines to meet, after all, Daytime curates over 7 and a half hours of live TV every day."

The successful candidate needs to have a keen eye for detail, be a team player with a willingness to learn and help out, enjoy working in a fast paced environment and an eagerness for learning new skills.

Factual Entertainment Apprentice (Commissioning)

From Paul O'Grady: For The Love of Dogs to Piers Morgan Killer Women, you are likely to have watched one of ITV's many factual entertainment shows.

So, in this role you will be required to support the team PA's, Commissioners and Head of Department with tasks including meeting and greeting guests and ensuring they are well looked after, booking meeting rooms and travel, running general office errands, PA work and working closely with the Proposals Co-Ordinator in logging proposals, organizing clips and monitoring the commissioning email inbox.

Production Apprentice - Daytime Competitions

Competitions are a big part of ITV's Daytime schedule and you are bound to have seen Andi Peters or Josie Gibson in a wacky scenario to tell you about the latest big prize.

The job application says: "The successful candidate will be energetic, excited, positive, collaborative, buzzing with ideas, calm, organised and passionate about television and television production.

"The ability to juggle multiple tasks at once is essential and we require an individual who thrives in a creative environment."

It adds: "You'll be working on a variety of different competitions and shows, and on four of the biggest daytime shows in the UK & with some of the most famous faces. 

"No two days are the same, you could be sourcing props, finding locations, suggesting script ideas, fetching presenter lunches, coffee runs, editing a sizzle reel, dressing the studio & much more."
