Afghanistan Records 56 New Cases of COVID-19
by Mohammad Arif ShevaKABUL, Afghanistan – The Ministry of Public Health Monday announced at least 56 new cases of coronavirus confirmed, out of 365 samples tested over the last 24 hours.
As of Monday, 14th of September, 107,167 samples have been tested in government centers, with 5,274 known active COVID-19 cases throughout the country, according to the Ministry’s data.
Meanwhile, in the past 24 hours, the ministry reported five deaths and 435 recoveries from COVID-19.
The number of total cases are 38,772, the total number of reported deaths are 1,425, and the total recoveries are 32,073.
By province, in Herat 30, Badghis 11, Kabul 20, Kandahar two, Balkh seven, Kunduz one, Daikundi two and Maidan Wardak one reported positive cases.
