Ex-Bolton Wanderers forward Joe Dodoo has found a new club and joined Turkish side Ankara Keciorengucu.

The 25-year-old was released by Wanderers over the summer and has been a free agent since.

The former Wanderers man has now penned a two-year deal with the Turkish second division side, the club announced on Twitter.

Dodoo played a total of 27 times for Bolton last season in all competitions, scoring four goals.

All of those strikes came in League One, with Dodoo netting against AFC Wimbledon, Southend United, Burton Albion and Doncaster Rovers.

Dodoo began his career at Leicester City and had a loan spell at Bury during his time with the Foxes.

In 2016, he joined Scottish giants Rangers and played a total of 27 times for the Ibrox side, scoring five goals.

Dodoo also had loan spells in England with Charlton Athletic and Blackpool, before leaving Rangers by mutual consent last summer.

He then signed for Bolton and penned a deal until the end of the 2019/20 season, before being released this summer.

His final appearance in a Wanderers shirt proved to be the 2-2 draw away to Burton Albion in mid-March, before the League One campaign was halted and later curtailed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
