MPSTM presents ‘Sanja’ on its You Tube channel

The presentation of ‘Sanja’, the Shraddha Parva of Malwa was held on Sunday. The event was presented at Madhya Pradesh State Tribal Museum YouTube channel under Uttaradhikar series.

In the presentation Sanja, Champo Jhuli Rho Mahare Dwar, Sanja To Mange Haro-Haro Gobar, Jao Sanja Mai Sasariya etc. songs were beautifully performed.

 Celebrated on the occasion of Shraddha festival by full-moon girls of Bhadrapad month from the full moon of Bhadrapada month to the new moon day of Ashwin month, almost all the mural ornamentation art as well as song-music  is presented beautifully.

 In this festival, Poonam’s Patla on the full moon day of Bhadrapada month with songs and music, fans on Ashwin Pratipada, Bijaura on the second day, Ghevar on Chaturthi, Chaupar on Chaturthi, five kunwari-kuwani on Panchami, Chhebri on Saptmi, Santiya on Saptami , Eight petals flowers or an army of eight brothers on Ashtami, Dokra-Dokri on Navami, Deepak on Dasmi, Banana tree or palanquin on Ekadashi, palm tree or Dwarkashi on Dwadashi or Kilakot from Morodi and Triodashi to Amavasya Is Kilakote is the overall presentation of Sanja folk art.
