[PICS INSIDE] As Bobbili Raja completes 30 years, Venkatesh Daggubati takes a trip down memory lane

Actor Venkatesh Daggubati had recalled the success of his 1990 film Bobbili Raja on its 30-year-anniversary. The actor also expressed his gratitude to the people who contributed to the film's success.

Actor Venkatesh Daggubati has shared the poster of his 1990 super-hit film Bobbili Raja on his official Instagram handle. The actor reminiscences about his film that was released 30 years ago. Venkatesh described his feelings while working in the film. The Venky Mama actor also expressed his gratitude to the people who had contributed to the success of the film. 

"A trip down memory lane. Today marks 30 years since Bobbili Raja! We’ve all come a long way since then! So thanks to everyone who has contributed to the success of this amazing movie," wrote Venkatesh along with the posters of the film. 

The first picture featured Venkatesh, Divya Bharti and Vai Sree while the second picture had Venkatesh and Dhivya Bharti. For the unversed, late Bollywood actress Divya Bharti made her Telugu movie debut with Bobbili Raja.

The film's success made the actress sign many films in Telugu and Hindi. She was just 16-years-old when the film released. Divya Bharti, aged 19,  breathed her last in 1993. The actress lost her balance and fell from the 5th floor of her apartment in Mumbai. 

Ever since her death, many speculations were doing rounds on media circles. Coming back to Venkatesh Daggubati, the actor will be seen in the film Naarappa co-starring Priyamani, Karthik Rathnam, Prakash Raj and Murali Sharma in the lead roles.

The film has been directed by Srikanth Addala with music by Mani Sharma. It has been produced by Kalaipuli S Dhanu in association with Daggubati Suresh Babu. Naarappa is the official remake of Tamil blockbuster Asuran (2019) directed by Vetri Maaran and starring Dhanush, Manju Warrier, Amu Abirami, Pasupathi and Adukalam Naren.
