West Bromwich Albion fans have been reacting to their side’s defeat to Leicester City.

The Baggies are back in the Premier League after a two-year absence, but began their campaign with a 3-0 home defeat to the Foxes.

Slaven Bilic’s side performed well in the first half, but after the interval Leicester took control with a goal from new signing Timothy Castange.

Jamie Vardy later netted a brace, with both goals coming from the penalty spot to hand Albion a disappointing defeat in their Premier League opener.

Albion fans have taken to social media to express their thoughts and emotions on the result and performance from their side. Here is a selection of what they had to say.

Andrew Crumpton: “We played well first half but once Leicester got out of first gear the difference in quality was clear. Our defence fell to pieces and our attack was non existent. Desperately need a few more additions to give us a chance.”

Richard Round: “Looked like exactly what we are..... A half decent championship side.....lets face it could have been 5 or 6....... So many positions that need to be strengthened.”

Ted Phillips: “This season is gonna seem to last forever. Can't think anybody will be surprised at the score or the result we all know where we needed to strengthen and we haven't.”

Ryan Leach: “Out of our depth at this level, need at least 4 signings, nothing up front and a catalogue of errors at the back. Finding it hard to feel optimistic about this season.”

Paul Willis: “Some of these lads have taken a big step up against good opposition. Going to take time. If you can't support em don't follow em.”

Ryan Nickless: “I mean we played well first half, but 2nd half we were non existent. We’re crying for a striker or two. Could be in for a very long season at this rate.”

Ant Stokes: “Good news is that we are back. More concerning is how easy that was for Leicester. That said they are one of the better teams in this league. We desperately need a striker.”
