Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer reveals they are ‘not in a hurry’ to file bail application in High Court
by TIMESOFINDIA.COMRhea Chakraborty and brother Showik’s bail plea was rejected by a special court on Friday and reports suggested that the siblings are likely to apply in High Court today. Advocate Satish Manshinde, who is representing the Chakrabortys, shared in a statement that they are in no hurry to apply for bail. “Even if we get a copy of the Order today, we are not in a hurry and moving immediately… we will study the order, it’s implications and developments in the case at the NCB level and then decide. There’s no room for speculation… once it is filed we will share a copy of the bail application.”

After days of questioning, the Narcotics Drugs Bureau had arrested Rhea Chakraborty last week. The NCB got 14-days judicial custody of the actress. Rhea is reportedly lodged at Byculla jail. Rhea and her brother Showik are being investigated by the NCB, after their chat records mentioned of drugs. The Enforcement Directorate, who is probing the money laundering angle, had reportedly shared these chat with the NCB.
