Simone Johnson: WWE Legend The Rock’s Daughter To Undergo Surgery

One of the brightest WWE Performance Center trainees, Simone Johnson has announced that she’ll be undergoing knee surgery. This would be the third time that she undergoes the knives at a point when her wrestling career is yet to begin. Perhaps, there are some past injury issues with her knees that weren’t disclosed in the tweet made by her,

“So, tomorrow I’m having knee surgery for the third time,” Johnson wrote. “As not fun as surgery is, I’m looking forward to my knees not popping out anymore. That said, please send me video games suggestions, movie suggestions (preferably scary) or anything else to help pass the time,” Simone Johnson wrote.

For those who aren’t acquainted with the name of Simone Johnson, he is the daughter of WWE Legend The Rock. She is the daughter that the People’s Champion has from his first marriage. WWE signed her to a contract back in February as she was sent to report to train at the WWE Performance Center since then alongside other new trainees.

Simone Johnson is yet to made her debut on NXT, but we have already sported her making multiple appearances in the crowd at the WWE PC and Full Sail as audiences during WWE show when they weren’t allowing fans in for shows. WWE had previously announced that the 18-year-old talent has been reporting to the PC but they’ve not planned anything yet for her on TV.

It should be noted that WWE was extremely happy to welcome the first fourth-generation Superstar in the history of the company in her. Simone Johnson is coming from the great Samoan family consisting of a line of legends that includes her great-grandfather and grandfather, WWE Hall of Famers “High Chief” Peter Maivia and Rocky Johnson, and her father, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

Simone Johnson also mentioned during a press release that she was extremely thankful for the opportunity provided by the WWE where she not only gets to wrestle but also carries on the legacy left by her predecessors. The fact that her family has a connection with wrestling was really special to her.

Furthermore, WWE EVP of Talent Relations, Triple H had a ton of praise for the future star of the company,
