One of Dublin's top GAA clubs has confirmed that two adult players have tested positive for COVID-19.

St Vincent's GAA confirmed the news this evening, but will not be shutting down all operations as the players in question isolates and the HSE conduct contact tracing, Dublin Live reports.

All teams with no close contacts will continue business as normal, the club have confirmed in a statement.

"St Vincent's GAA have learned of two positive tests for COVID-19 from our Adult Section," they said.

"Both players and the club are following all public health procedures.

"In line with GAA guidelines, all teams with no close contacts identified will continue to train and play as normal."

St. Vincent's is one of the country's top GAA clubs, and have won the Club All-Ireland championship on three occasions - most recently in 2014.

And the Marino club is not the first Dublin club to be affected by the killer bug.

An adult player tested positive for Ballyboden St Enda's last month, while Lusk club Man O' War were forced to briefly shut down operations after a member returned a positive test.
