
Chopper called to Moree Hospital to transfer 26-year-old woman to Newcastle
by NewsroomA 26-year-old woman has been airlifted from Moree Hospital to Newcastle for urgent specialist treatment on Wednesday afternoon.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked on the medical retrieval to Moree Hospital to transfer the woman to John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle.
The woman was suffering a medical condition which required specialist treatment.

She was stabilised by the Helicopter Critical Care Medical Team prior to the flight to Newcastle.
No further details on the woman's condition were provided.
It's the second day in a row that the chopper has been to Moree, after airlifting a 70-year-old man to Taree Hospital on Tuesday afternoon.
