Kajal-Tamanna Fails To Impress The ‘Queen’

by

One of the most delayed ‘remake’ ever in south Indian history is none other than remake of the super hit film, Vikas Bahl’s Queen, which has Kangana Ranaut playing the lead role. The film got made in the four South languages simultaneously and right now, they are releasing songs from the four films at the same time, as the four versions are heading for OTT release soon.

Going by the video songs of Telugu version “That is Mahalakshmi” featuring Tamanna and Tamil version “Paris Paris” that has Kajal Aggarwal reprising the role of Kangana, many fans of the original Queen movie are quite disappointed. In the original, Kangana appeared like an innocent Delhi girl who goes to Paris all alone and discovers herself by giving up fear. But here in both Kajal and Tamanna, it appears as they tried very hard to portray the role.

Perhaps, both Kajal and Tamanna are still stuck in their stardom that they failed to act like girl next door. With Kajal not even putting an ounce of that simplicity into the role (also blame those stylish costumes she wore), her video songs are not even attractive though they are getting views on YouTube. At the same time, Tamanna’s performance is too forced as the milky siren tried to fit into a de-glam role, but haven’t really succeded.

And the same song from Malayalam version Zam Zam featuring Manjima Mohan and Kannada version featuring Parul Yadav is like- forget about them.
