The Real Madrid left-back spent last season on loan with Sevilla, and was part of their team which won the Europa League. The 23-year-old assisted a goal for former Liverpool winger Suso when the Spanish side defeated United in the semi-finals.

Solskjaer must have been impressed with what he saw, as it has been reported that United are interested in signing the Spaniard. However, according to AS, Reguilon would rather return to Sevilla on loan for 2020/21, so as not to jeopardise his chances of breaking through with Real.
