Everton fans react as James Rodriguez dazzles against Tottenham

The Toffees claimed all three points against Jose Mourinho’s side, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin providing the winner in the second half from a pinpoint Lucas Digne cross.
All three of Everton’s new signings started the game, with Allan and Abdoulaye Doucoure operating in the engine room and James to the right.
The trio made a noticeable difference to Everton’s game, and James was particularly impressive.
The Colombian, who earlier this week signed a two-year contract with the option for a third year, was full of creativity and industry for Carlo Ancelotti’s side.
The 29-year-old has much to prove at the club following a tough past few seasons, but he looked very promising here.
The South American quickly dispelled doubts about his ability to flourish in England, linking well with Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
As per Goal, James created five chances in total – the most by any Premier League debutant since Alexis Sanchez in 2014.
He was at the heart of everything good for the Toffees, and the two strikers could be in for a great season with him operating nearby them.
