WWE Clash Of Champions 2020: Potential Full PPV Match Card Revealed

by

The next pay-per-view event in the WWE calendar is going to be Clash Of Champions 2020 on September 27th. Only three matches have officially been announced for the card, as of this writing. But a few more matches are likely to be announced for this exceptional night of the year where each of the championships from the main roster remains on the line.

With that being said, Clash Of Champions 2020 will be seeing the WWE Championship be defended by Drew McIntyre against Randy Orton in a rematch from SummerSlam 2020. Roman Reigns will have his first Universal Championship defense against cousin Jey Uso. Also, Bayley will defend her SmackDown Women’s Title against Nikki Cross in another rematch from Extreme Rules 2020.

It’s unclear who would take on Bobby Lashley for the United States Championship. It’s possible that the All-Mighty may end up defending the belt in a triple threat match which is the same capacity for Jeff Hardy’s Intercontinental Title. Hardy is likely to defend against Sami Zayn and AJ Styles whereas Lashley should have Apollo Crews as one of the two opponents at Clash Of Champions 2020.

The situation with the WWE Raw Women’s Championship is also interesting as she is feuding with Natalya and Lana. At the same time, she will be facing Mickie James in a title defense on Raw. The idea of putting Nattie in a RAW Women’s Title match has been there for a while. She was supposed to get a shot at SummerSlam. Perhaps Clash Of Champions 2020 would be the right time for her to finally receive a title opportunity.

The men’s Tag Team Titles are also a very interesting situation. Neither of the title-holders has any opponents for Clash Of Champions 2020. Hence rumors are rife that Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro might end up facing The Street Profits in a Champions vs Champions match where both the belts will be unified in a Winners Take All situation.
