This Morning's Holly and Phil threaten to walk off following Eamonn and Ruth blunder

Holly Willoughby, 39, and Phillip Schofield, 58, joked they were ready to ditch This Morning on Monday.

The ITV favourites were left miffed after the show titles rolled and their names were missing and their monikers were replaced by Friday's presenters Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes.

Phil exclaimed: "Eamonn and Ruth? Eamonn and Ruth?"

Holly quizzed: "Did that say Eamonn and Ruth?"

Phil snorted:"It said Eamonn and Ruth!"

After the screen popped up, Phil mocked that he was going to walk of air as he hopped off his stool and Holly agreed by pretending to wave goodbye.

The pair then revealed they were just joking as they erupted into giggles.

On today's show Holly and Phil reminisced on their This Morning journey as they gear up to mark their 11th anniversary as co-hosts.

On the 15th of September 2009, bubbly Holly made her debut on the iconic ITV morning show after telly bosses decided that she was the perfect match for Phil.

And the pair took a look back at their first ever selfie together on-air.

“We were so young!” gasped Holly upon seeing this throwback snap.

While Phil quipped: “I think we’re getting better with age – like a fine wine!”

Phil and Holly were first paired together in 2006 after they were chosen to front ITV’s new skating competition  Dancing On Ice.

This also marked then-kids TV host Holly’s first foot in the door into mainstream television.

Producers and viewers alike noticed the pair's chemistry, and when Fern announced she was leaving This Morning in 2009, there was only one obvious choice to join Phil on that famous sofa.
