Download crDroid OS on Xiaomi Redmi 6A based on Android 9.0 Pie

Xiaomi Redmi 6A (cactus) launched in June 2018. The handset came with Android 8.1 Oreo and later upgraded to Android 9.0 Pie. Today we will guide on How to Install crDroid OS on Redmi 6A. This Custom Firmware is based on Android 9.0 Pie.

To Install this Custom ROM, you need TWRP Recovery. We had already shared the method to install TWRP Recovery on Redmi 6A. If you already installed TWRP, then you probably want to try new Custom ROM for Redmi 6A.

Xiaomi Redmi 6A features a 5.45 inches IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels. The device is powered by Mediatek Helio A22 (12 nm) processor. Pre-Requisite: 

• Supported: Redmi 6A (Don’t Try this on Any other device):
• Note: Charge your phone up to 80% or 70%.
• Required Drivers: Download Xiaomi USB Drivers
• Unlock Bootloader: You need to unlock the bootloader on your device.
• TWRP Recovery: To flash this, You need TWRP Recovery on Redmi 6A
• Backup using TWRP: Create and Restore Nandroid Backup using TWRP

• Download CRdroid ROM base:

  Android 9.0 Pie

  •  Download ROM / Mirror    •  Download Android Pie Gapps Package || or try Open Gapps 9.0

Installation Guide:

• First of all, Download and move the both ROM and Gapps zip file to internal storage [root folder]
• Now boot your device into TWRP Recovery.
