Two LA County Sheriff Deputies Shot in Compton in Police Ambush

According to video footage and reports, two Los Angeles County Sheriff deputies were shot this past Saturday night. As a result, the deputies are both fighting for their lives.

In the video, a 31-year-old female deputy and 24-year-old deputy were sitting in their squad car when an unidentifiable assailant walked up to the vehicle and began firing a gun inside before fleeing the scene. Both officers were hit, with reports claiming they were hit in the head. Both officers were revealed to be in critical condition and are both were heading to surgery as a result.

Sheriff Alex Villanueva spoke on the matter, saying the Compton shooting was done “in a cowardly fashion” and that “both [officers are] still fighting for their lives.” Stay tuned for more details.
