Looking for a job in Manchester city centre?

Several retailers in the Arndale Centre are currently hiring - so we've rounded up the latest jobs on offer.

From sale assistants at fashion retailers to baristas at Starbucks, there are plenty of roles to choose from - some with no previous experience required.

Here are the jobs you can apply for right now.

Pandora

Luxury jewelery brand Pandora is looking for a salesperson to join the team at its pop-up store in the Arndale.

As a sales assistant you will work part-time for eight hours per week on a rotational shift-basis, including some weekends and Bank Holidays.

The job description says that the right candidate will "lead the success of the store by influencing sales, excelling in customer service, and sharing their knowledge of the product and brand".

You will need "strong selling skills" - and experience in a luxury environment with one-to-one sales experience is preferable but not essential.

JD

Sports fashion retailer JD is looking for both full-time and part-time sales assistants for its Manchester Arndale store.

Wages are age-dependant and contracts of between eight and 40 hours are available.

The job description reads: "Successful candidates will be hard working and self motivated, with an interest in customer service and a keen eye for detail.

"Being part of the team you will be responsible for ensuring our customers receive the best possible service each time they visit your store.

"You will assist in maximising store profitability by exceeding your sales targets and utilising the in-store devices whilst contributing to a successful store team."

Previous sales experience is preferable but not essential.

Thorntons

Chocolate retailer Thorntons is looking for a permanent store manager for its Arndale outlet.

Thorntons is part of the Fererro Group, which manufactures brands such as Nutella, Ferrero Rocher and Kinder Bueno.

As a store manager you will be responsible for the performance of your store and team, according to the job description.

"In order to succeed you realise the importance of your team which you will recruit and shape through coaching, creating a high performance culture," it reads.

HMV

Entertainment retailer HMV is looking for a part-time sales assistant.

The job description reads: "If you really know your stuff about the products that we sell and can inspire customers and deliver exceptional service, we can offer you an exciting career in entertainment retail."

You will need to have specialist product and market knowledge and be able to provide "first class customer service".

HMV says it "particularly invite applications from groups which are under-represented in our workforce such as older, female and ethnic minority candidates".

Jack & Jones

Fashion retailer Jack & Jones is looking for a full-time store assistant.

The job description reads: "For our store in Manchester Arndale, we’re looking for a strong sales profile who can deliver and not least give our customers great service – every time!"

It continues: "With professional pride, as well as authentic, consistent and positive leadership, you will be trained in our retail concept and core skills.

"As Sales Assistant at Jack & Jones you will primarily be assessed on your ability to create the best possible experience for the customers, as well as the ability to create solid growth and earnings for the store."

Starbucks

Starbucks is hiring for two roles in its Manchester Arndale shop.

The coffee chain is looking for a barista and a shift supervisor.

The barista role requires no previous experience and you will be expected to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends and nights.

The shift supervisor will be required to check in with baristas during the shift "to ensure the delivery of legendary customer service for all customers".

Both are full-time positions.

Bella Italia

Restaurant Bella Italia is looking to hire a cleaner.

According to the job description the right candidate will be "intensely passionate about creating the very best environment for our guests", someone who works within the guidelines provided and is "unafraid to approach any cleaning job required".

Staff rewards include 50 per cent discount on food and drink in all Big Table Group restaurants and team meals on shifts over five hours.

Three

Phone and broadband company Three is looking for "a cool, friendly, ambitious individual" to join the sales team.

Based at the Arndale, the sale assistant will earn £9 per hour plus 25 per cent on target bonus, according to the job description.

The part-time role will require you to work 20 hours a week.
