Auto rickshaw driver commits suicide

Depressed over financial problems, a 45-year-old auto rickshaw driver committed suicide by jumping into Motia Talab under Shahjehanbad police station area on Sunday morning.

According to police, the deceased Rajesh Lal was declared dead when he was rushed to a nearby hospital after he was found drowned. Police were informed and based on the receipt a team reached and started investigation.

In the initial investigation a suicide note was found from the spot in which the deceased has asked his children to pardon him.

Deceased used to work as autorickshaw driver and possible reason of the suicide was financial problems faced by the deceased. He used to live with his family at Indra Nagar.

After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem and a case under section 174 of the CrPC was registered.

The reason of the suicide remained unknown and would be investigated in the further investigation. Details of the deceased regarding missing complaint or any other information would be investigated, said police.

Meanwhile, disheartened over mother’s death a 39-year-old man committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at his house in Subhash Colony under Ashoka Garden  police station area on Saturday.

Police said that the deceased Amit Saxena committed suicide at his house. The deceased used to work as electrician.In the initial investigation it was found that his mother died in the month of June and he was depressed over her death.

A suicide note was found in which deceased mentioned that he was depressed over her mother’s death and not feeling well. Body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC .
