Here are the latest transfer news headlines and rumours on Monday, September 14

Mbappe keen on Premier League switch

Kylian Mbappe has reportedly told Paris Saint-Germain he wants to leave at the end of the season, which is said to have sparked a three-way scramble between Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City for his services.

With two years still remaining on his contract at the end of this season, The Sun report that the French outfit will not allow the player to leave for less than a world-record £300m.

The report claims Mbappe will expect to receive a £20m-a-year salary and wants a five-year contract, totalling another £100m outlay for any potential suitor.

It also states that Liverpool, who are said to be frontrunners owing to Mbappe's admiration of Jurgen Klopp and their persistent links with the player, would have to sell one of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane or Roberto Firmino to fund the deal.

Mane is thought to be the most likely to leave if that is the case, with Real Madrid said to be keen on fronting a £150m bid for the forward.

Meanwhile reports in Holland state that Ronald Koeman is interested in bringing Salah to Barcelona, a deal which would also bring in a hefty fee.

Man United eye Bale

The BBC report that Manchester United are eyeing up potential moves for Gareth Bale and Ivan Perisic as Jadon Sancho alternatives.

Borussia Dortmund are said to be increasingly confident of keeping the young England star, despite him remaining United’s top transfer target this window.

The Bundesliga club have an asking price of £100m for Sancho and United do not feel a deal is possible at that valuation.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer remains keen for another wide player and have looked at Bale and Perisic as potential short-term solutions.

Gunners linked with Martinez replacement

The Daily Mail report that Arsenal have enquired about Dijon goalkeeper Runar Alex Runarsson.

With Emiliano Martinez heading to Aston Villa, the Gunners are keen on a new back-up keeper and have identified the Icelandic 25-year-old as a potential option.

Brentford’s David Raya has also been linked with the Emirates.

Leeds monitor Gaich

El Intransigente report that Leeds United are continuing to monitor Argentina international Adolfo Gaich.

The centre-forward moved to CSKA Moscow from San Lorenzo earlier this summer but Marcelo Bielsa is said to remain keen on his compatriot.

Gaich, 21, has a release clause of around £27m.
