The Huawei Watch Fit sees an international launch with pricing and availability info

Huawei had technically launched the Watch Fit prior to its latest HDC; however, that event pertained to just 1 market (the United Arab Emirates (UAE)), as, thus, did the price announced on that date. Now, however, the new fitness-focused wearable has more global availability and cost details.

The Watch Fit has a relatively novel form-factor that makes it look less like an Apple Watch and more like a Nubia Watch or Amazfit X (albeit without the curve). The more generous AMOLED rectangular screen measures 1.64 inches across and weighs 34 grams - as does the new Watch GT 2 Pro.

These 2 wearables also have Huawei's new TruSeen 4.0+ heart rate monitoring tech in common. The Watch Fit also has 11 "professional" workout modes, (whereas the GT 2 Pro has 6), detailed sleep-analysis features and over 130 different default watch faces.

However, Huawei skimmed over several details for this new smartwatch in its press release, such as its chipset, RAM, storage and exactly what software it runs - as indeed it did with the GT 2 Pro. The OEM has confirmed that it will cost €129 (~US$153) on its release, however.
