Spectators To Return To Stadium During Australia Women vs New Zealand Women Series
by Yash MittalFans are set to return to the stadiums for an international cricket fixture for the very first time since the global pandemic began, when T20 world champions Australia Women host the White Ferns for a series of three T20Is and as many One-day Internationals.
The series will also mark the beginning of the international summer of cricket in Australia and interestingly, it will be the first time that crowds will be back in the stadium Down Under since a record 86,174 spectators attended the T20 World Cup final between eventual champions Australia women and the Women in Blue [Team India].
“A limited number of tickets will be available in line with Queensland Health and Government COVIDSafe requirements, resulting in a reduced venue capacity in addition to mandatory social distancing measures,” Cricket Australia said in an official press release on Monday.

Crowd set to return to stadiums as Cricket Australia releases the guidelines
All the tickets need to be bought online and the fans have been asked to swipe in using their mobile device with details stored in case there is a need for contact tracing.
The entire ground will be split into six zones and the fans will not be allowed to move outside their designated area. As far as tickets are concerned, there will be a limit of six tickets per customer and no box-office sales will be available for the match,
Cricket Australia has come up with an interesting guideline with regards to cheering in the ground.
“Try to keep shouting, singing, cheering, or celebrating to a minimum to avoid transmission,” Cricket Australia guidelines state as quoted by ANI.
Meanwhile, Australia will be looking to continue with their dominance over their Trans-Tasman rivals, having won six ODIs and five T20Is on the trot against the White Ferns.
The series will kickstart with the T20I rubber, the first of which will take place at the Allan Border Field in Brisbane on September 26.
