The Infinix Note 7 will be available on Flipkart in India this Wednesday

by

The Infinix Note 7 was unveiled back in April and its journey to India proved to be a long one as the phone is only now ready to go on sale – it will be available on Flipkart this Wednesday. More details about the launch should be revealed tomorrow.

The retailer has not unveiled the price yet, but the Note 5 from a couple of years ago has an MSRP of INR 11,000 (the Note 6 from last year is not available on Flipkart). The new Note 7 is available in the Philippines in the same price segment – PHP 8,000, which works out to INR 12,000 or so.

Here’s what you’ll get for your money: a 6.95” IPS LCD (720p+ resolution), MediaTek Helio G70, 48 MP rear and 16 MP selife cameras, stereo speakers and 3.5 mm headphone jack, 5,000 mAh battery with 18 W fast charging.

Storage starts at 64 GB and has an option for 128 GB (expandable via microSD). The base RAM capacity is 4 GB, which goes up to 6 GB on the top-specced model. This one is interesting because it’s the only one with a low-light video camera (2 MP sensor). With it the number of cameras goes up to four (including one macro and one depth).

And we can see four cams in the teaser images posted on Flipkart. Of course, the memory configuration will affect the price – but the model in the Philippines we mentioned is the top 6/128 GB one, so if the base 4/64 GB option is available, it should be even more affordable. There's no sign of the Infinix Note 7 Lite.
