Coronavirus: Gyms, yoga institutes to open in Delhi with immediate effect

New Delhi, Sep 13: After being shut for over 4 months due to the novel coronavirus, the Delhi government has allowed the gyms and yoga institutes to reopen Monday.

"Gyms and yoga institutes permitted with immediate effect subject to strict compliance of SOP," said a statement from Delhi government.

The Delhi government also announced that the weekly market per day per zone in all three Municipal Corporations/NDMC/Cantonment Board will be allowed from September 14 to 30, except in containment zones.

Last month, the Centre had issued fresh guidelines on preventive measures to contain the spread of COVID-19 in Yoga institutes and gymnasiums.
