WATCH: Two massive smashes as Lewis Hamilton wins Tuscany Grand Prix

Lewis Hamilton continued his dominance of Formula One as he secured his 90th Grand Prix win in Tuscany.

The dramatic race was red-flagged twice after crashes took out out six racers in the opening lap.

After the lights went out, racing lasted only three corners because of a crash between Kimi Raikkonen, Pierre Gasly and Romain Grosjean.

Max Verstappen, who had started slowly due to engine issues, got caught up and was taken out.

That was the first safety car -- but the second one followed immediately after the race re-started.

Valteri Bottas caused the field to bunch up and that resulted in an enormous crash at the back of the field.

Kevin Magnussen accelerated and then slowed. Nicholas Latifi had to swerve to avoid him, but Antonio Giovinazzi was unable to do so.

Carlos Sainz then hit the back of the cars of both Giovinazzi and Magnussen, sending the Alfa Romeo flying into the air.

The red flags were shown soon afterwards and the depleted, 14-car field returned to the pits.

“That was fucking stupid from whoever was at the front,” fumed Grosjean on his radio.

“They want to kill us or what? This is the worst thing I’ve seen ever.”

The drama wasn't finished.

When Hamilton streaked clear following the second re-start to control the race, it seemed like it would be a simple finish.

Lance Stroll was in contention for third, only to get a puncture going into a corner.

That sent him flying into the barrier -- causing another red flag.

Alex Albon eventually grabbed the third spot on the podium.

Both at the pre-race anti-racism demonstration and as he did his post-race interviews, Hamilton wore a T-shirt saying:

"Arrest the cops who killed Breonna Taylor."
