Ghani Stresses Gov’t, National Assembly Coordination
by Mohammad Arif ShevaKABUL, Afghanistan – Afghan President Ashraf Ghani stressed the need for coordination between the government and National Assembly, according to the Palace, as he met with Head of Senate Fazlul Hadi Mulslimyar on Sunday.
Ghani met with Head of Senate Fazlul Hadi Muslimyar and Speaker of the House of Representative Mir Rahman Rahmani in two separate meetings at the Presidential Palace, said ARG in a tweet.
Both meetings wrapped, emphasizing on the need for better coordination between the Afghan government and the National Assembly, ARG (also the Palace) said, adding the Assembly expressed full support to the government role in ongoing peace process.
Meanwhile, President Ghani called for full support of the National Assembly to the Afghan Security and Defense Forces, the ARG added.
