Are you still battling your way through Bad North? Defending your islands, repelling those pesky vikings, and fighting to keep your commanders alive? You've still got a few weeks until the game leaves Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass for PC on September 30th, alongside DiRT Rally 2.0, DiRT Rally 2.0 (Win 10), Dishonored 2 and Dishonored 2 (Win 10). Also leaving Xbox Game Pass on September 30th are Yooka-Laylee, Westerado: Double Barreled, and Panzer Dragoon Orta.
Bad North
We included Bad North in our list of five great Xbox One games for when you're short on time. It's a great little strategy game which blends blood and war with cute pastel colours and adorable sound effects, and somehow blends it well. You're tasked with recruiting commanders and defending your islands against Viking invaders, adapting your strategy and troop deployment to the layout of each island. Bad North should take around 15 to 20 hours to complete, and we've got a great Bad North walkthrough from TheOnlyMatto to help you out.
Dirt Rally 2.0
Dirt Rally 2.0 is leaving both Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass for PC, and it looks like it'll take quite a bit longer to complete — around 60 to 80 hours, according to our completion estimate, with about 1% of gamers having completed it. The game's rated 4.12/5 on our site, and since there's still a few weeks before the end of September, it seems it'll be more than worth your time to check out this racing game.
Dishonored 2
Dishonored 2 is also leaving both Xbox Game Pass services on September 30th. It's a stealth game which casts you as a supernatural assassin out to interfere with the gate of the Empire. This one's rated at 4.33/5 and will also take a little chunk of time to complete — around 40-50 hours — but luckily we have the Dishonored 2 walkthrough and Dishonored 2 (Win 10) walkthrough from KD9 37 to help out.
Westerado: Double Barreled
This action-adventure open-world game should take around 15 to 20 hours to complete with the aid of napoearth's Westerado: Double Barreled walkthrough. Westerado: Double Barreled sends you out into the Wild West to hunt down the desperado who killed your family and avenge them, letting you choose how you achieve your vengeance: shooting, bluffing, or behaving yourself as you ride from the forest to the mountains and back again.
Yooka-Laylee
Yooka-Laylee arrived for Xbox Game Pass late last year along with Dishonored 2. It's a charming platformer game in which Yooka and Laylee fight and puzzle their way to defeating Capital B, who, for reasons best known to himself, is aiming to "absorb all the world's books... and convert them into pure profit." It's rated at 3.70/5 with an estimated completion time of 20-25 hours, and you can make use of Krows Graveyard's Yooka-Laylee walkthrough to help you out.
Lastly, Panzer Dragoon Orta will also be leaving Xbox Game Pass on September 30th. As usual, you'll have up to 20% off using your Xbox Game Pass membership if you want to buy any of these games before they leave. Although that's a fair number of great games leaving the Xbox Game Pass services, their departure leaves room for five more games coming to Xbox Game Pass in September — including Night in the Woods. Don't forget, Rocket League leaves Xbox Game Pass soon, but will become available as a free-to-play game instead.

Hey, I'm Heidi! I've just finished studying a Masters in English Literature, but I've been obsessed with gaming since long before then. I began on the PS2 with Spyro, before graduating to the Xbox 360 and disappearing into Skyrim. I'm now a loyal RPG fan, but I still like to explore other genres — when I'm not playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey, or being lured back into Red Dead Redemption 2 or The Witcher 3!
