Assam: Fit India awareness cycling rally taken out in Goalpara
by NE NOW NEWS27 Assam NCC JD Coy, Sainik School Goalpara took out a Fit India awareness cycling rally on Sunday as a part of Fit India Movement.
The rally was taken out to encourage the cadets and staff to stay healthy and fit by including physical activities and sports in their daily lives.
Lt Col ADS Jasrotia, Officer Commanding of the NCC Coy and Vice Principal, Sainik School Goalpara flagged off the from the school campus.
A team of 30 cyclists including cadets, NCC staff and teaching staff covered a total distance of approximately 40 kilometres.
The team was supported and accompanied by the school medical team and personnel from Mornoi police station.
After completion of the expedition, Lt Col Jasrotia complimented all the participants and further encouraged them to take such activities as a part of a regular routine and keep themselves fit.
