Mumbai: A day after meeting Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari at Raj Bhavan in Mumbai, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut on Monday announced that she is leaving the Maharashtra capital ‘with a heavy heart’. The Queen actress is returning to her home state Himachal Pradesh.

Taking to Twitter, Ranaut mentioned that the way she was “terrorised all these days” and an effort was made to break her house after her workplace, “must say my analogy about POK was bang on”.

In another tweet, the Tanu weds Manu actress said that those who are considering her as “weak” are highly mistaken. “When saviours are announcing themselves as destroyers; ripping up democracy by turning into crocodiles. They are committing a huge mistake by considering me as weak. By threatening a woman, defaming her, they are ruining their own image,” tweeted Kangana Ranaut in Hindi.

Kangana Ranaut had arrived in Mumbai from Himachal Pradesh last week after her comments triggered a spat with Maharashtra's ruling Shiv Sena.

Parts of her office, which is located in Mumbai’s Bandra West area, were razed by the Shiv Sena-led Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on the same day she had landed in Mumbai. The famous actress had moved the Bombay High Court which stayed the demolition.

"With a heavy heart leaving Mumbai, the way I was terrorised all these days constant attacks and abuses hurled at me attempts to break my house after my work place, alert security with lethal weapons around me, must say my analogy about POK was bang on (sic)," Ranaut tweeted earlier today.

Kangana Ranaut had met Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshiyari yesterday to apprise him of the "injustice" meted out to her.

She has been slamming Bollywood and the way it functions since the sudden death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput on June 14. Initially, she had described it as "planned murder" by an industry that does not acknowledge outsiders.

Ranaut escalated her attack when she claimed about the alleged drug nexus in Bollywood. She also targeted the Maharashtra government for the way it handled the case.

Her statement comparing Mumbai to Pakistan-occupied Kashmir further drew the ire of politicians. Following her altercation with Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut, the Centre provided Y-plus security.
