Bhagat exhorts party workers to work dedicatedly in Sewa Saptah

The Bharatiya Janata Party state president Bansidhar Bhagat has exhorted the party workers to become involved with dedication in service as part of the Sewa Saptah being held from September 14 by the party to commemorate the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday. Bhagat further said that he is healthy and will participate in public events from September 17.

The BJP state vice president Devendra Bhasin informed on behalf of Bhagat that the party’s state president is completely healthy now. He is currently under home quarantine after being treated for Covid-19. The home quarantine period for Bhagat will end on September 16. Recently, he had experienced weakness and had gone to government Doon medical college hospital for a checkup. After completing his home quarantine, the BJP state president will begin participating in public events while observing guidelines in place considering Covid-19 from the PM’s birthday on September 17. While thanking the public and party workers for their good wishes, he also expressed gratitude to the doctors and medical staff. The work done by the party workers during the Covid pandemic is an example for all, he said.

Bhagat also appealed to the party workers to contribute with assiduity to the Sewa Saptah being held by the party from Monday. All the programmes during this week are to be held in accordance with the Covid guidelines. The activities during this week will include giving implements to the differently abled, spectacles to the poor, blood and plasma donation among other service works. He exhorted the BJP workers to serve the public while adopting the aspect forwarded by the Prime Minister about involving service with politics.
