Miscreants loot Rs 2.80L from customer service centre

Three armed miscreants looted a sum of Rs 2.80 lakh from the owner of a customer service centre being operated at Saria under the same police station here on Sunday afternoon, said SDPO Bagodar Binod Mahto.

According to reports, three bike-borne masked assailants carried out the robbery incident near the Sonasut river.

When the customer service center operator was passing near the Sonasut river with a bag full of cash, the assailants allegedly overpowered him and fled with his bag. 

According to the victim, the three criminals were wearing masks.

Therefore, the culprits could not be identified.

However, the victim says that the three will be around 25 to 30 years of age.

After the incident, Sariya police led by SDPO Vinod Mahato of the area are conducting raids near the Sonasut river to nab criminals.
