Lautaro's agents are now in Barcelona
by BeSoccer'Corriere dello Sport' says that Lautaro Martinez's agents are now in Barcelona to negotiate his possible signing for Ronald Koeman's side. The news has not gone down well at Inter Milan. Antonio Conte wants to keep him in the squad.
Lautaro is closer to joining Barcelona. In Italy, they are saying that the player's agents have now arrived in the Catalan capital to negotiate with the Barca board over his possible signing. 'Corriere dello Sport' broke the news and he explained that Inter are not best pleased at all.
The reason is that Antonio Conte wants to keep him at Inter. The ideal thing for the coach would be for him remain Lukaku's strike partner. The Argentine is not against a move to Barca for next season so that is not good news for Conte.
The previously mentioned Italian paper reports that the agents will now go back to Milan to talk to Valencia about what will happen with the footballer's contract. It is currently until 2023.
Lautaro's future will depend on these two meetings. He is destined to become Luis Suarez's substitute and the Uruguayan is looking more and more likely to leave for Barca. Koeman does not count on him and the 23 year-old striker is the man chosen to replace him.
